History
Cybernet System Management, Inc.(CSMI) was founded in 1983 by Joseph Eng. Although his formal training was in electrical engineering, his true passion was entrepreneurship. He managed several multi-million dollar projects prior to embarking into his own electrical and process controls engineering firm.Karen Eng joined CSMI full-time in 1996 and is the current President.
From the start, CSMI has been successful in the specialized disciplines and has added capabilities to complement the business. We have managed to create a niche by providing engineering and design services specifically to the FDA and USDA regulated industries.
Our focus is to work with manufacturing facilities to improve their process and packaging lines. We have an impressive client list which has diversified throughout the years.
Forecasting that the pharmaceutical industry would be an integral industry to CSMI, the company received ISO 9001 certification. The certification allowed the company to be a qualified engineering firm without an onsite audit by the pharmaceutical company. CSMI currently maintains the certification which has streamlined and standardized our engineering process and procedures.
Today, we have managed to create a niche by providing engineering and design services specifically to the FDA and USDA regulated industries.
CSMI became certified with the Chicago Minority Business Development Council as an Asian-Pacific owned firm. In addition to our minority status, CSMI is a veteran owned firm. We are an active member within the minority community and serve on Boards and Chair various committees.
